Cannot uninstall roxio 2011




















Joined Jun 18, Messages Nero doesn't recognize the burner I can burn CD's though. I read somewhere that Roxio can conflict with Nero, so I tried to uninstall Roxio. But when I go to the 'add, remove programs", Roxio is not there. There is also no uninstall option available in the start menu. I tried to reinstall Roxio and then uninstall it, but it still doesn't show up in the add, remove programs list.

Use Explore to Delete the Roxio folder and then get hold of a utility to clean up your dead links and registry and all of that rot. Thanks for the help. I'm going to try these things tonight. I then uninstall, but the program still remains on my desktop. Thanks for all the help. When you uninstall and you say it still remains on desktop, what happens when you double click it? If it doesn't do anything, it means just the icon is leftover and you can remove it.

Locate and left click File in the upper left hand corner of the Registry editor. Click Export Export range "All" should be selected. Choose a location on your hard drive and give the file a name.

Click Save. Your registry should now be backed up in a. Locate the Software folder. Locate the Roxio folder, then right-click on it and select delete. Do the same for the Sonic folder if present. Close the Registry Editor window and restart the computer. If yes, you may have to contact the program manufacturer for any updates or uninstall and re-install the program.
