Don't just be satisfied with the NAPW matching when you speak to them because you may be talking about 1 listings and the may be talking about another dupe.

You need to make sure you're talking about the same listing. They call this the "YP ID". Make sure you get them to repeat the ID back to you when they're talking about making changes. If the ID's match, you're talking about the same listing. I can't tell you how many times in the early days when I was just starting to work with YP that they changed a different listing than I was looking at because there was a dupe I didn't know about.

OR there was a dupe in their system that is hidden from the YP site that they were working on by mistake. Good luck! There doesn't seem to be a clean and easy way anymore to manually fix citations. It's very frustrating. You would think there would be some kind of law that if a website had your data they should be required to give you a free and easy way to manage that data.

How these websites can hold your own business data hostage is beyond me. With all the privacy issues these days you would think these directories would be ripe for lawsuits. A business owner shouldn't be required to pay a monthly fee forever just to keep their info accurate on a given directory. Rant over Wirenut Member. YP has become a pain in the last few weeks. Their system to add listings is bugged now, their reps seem to be much less knowledgeable about their own system than usual now, among other issues.

I've taken some time aside today to improve a few site services, and I can now say that this site is fully PDA Compatible. August 25th, - Recovery Mode and Firmware Problems There have been a number of issues in the past day or so concerning the new firmware posted on the site in the past week and the need to use Recovery Mode to install some of the updates.

Please see the following posts for more info on these problems - And make sure to check if the Download Section Lists any version you plan to upgrade to as a Recovery Mode Update. There are a lot of advantages of the new versions, but note that Improper Installation Could Potentially Kill Your Yepp , so please check first. Seems to patch up some bugs from the previous version and adds a couple of new functions. New T8 Firmware versions are coming out often now, lets hope others will be released soon as well :.

If you get it, please post on the forum to tell us about what you think of it. It seems to add Lyric Station compatiblity to a few new yepp' players, and it may also have some fixes and improvements as well. Samsung has been releasing new firmware for its new products, but I'm not sure if they will ever be available here anytime soon. Remember though, if anyone wants firmware for a Yepp MP3 Player not listed on my site, just ask me and I'll get whatever is out there for you.

Hope this new Lyric Station version fixes the problems some of you have mentioned having with v 2. This though is a new upgrade for the T5 that just came out today, it is mostly a speed upgrade for that player and fixes a few minor issues.

YP v7. I have managed to get access to a new source of yepp firmware so expect me to have files online much faster then before :. Check out the Downloads Section for the new files. It adds the ability to edit Lyrics, synchronize them to the time, preview them and edit new T6, ST5 Lyrics 55 and all the other editions are still supported as well.

Other downloads added include a YP-T5 USB Driver fix Also worth noting is that there are now so many different Yepp versions that I am not providing downloads for all of them, but if you have a Yepp player I don't cover then please tell me and I'll add it to the site.

September 4th, - YP Version 7. It may also add some kind of 'NetSync' function to the Yepp. Check the forum for more details. I haven't gotten a chance to test it out yet, but I've put it online as soon as I could get it. Enjoy, and look for my report on it soon :. I have found YP's firmware V 7. YP-T5 3. YP-T5 Firmware version 2. The firmware upgrade seems to improve on the stability of the firmware.
