More beeps, like 25 in a row very fast. Makes me wonder if there is a hardware problem brewing More than 20 beeps? If no other solution can be found try disconnecting the keyboard. What kind of PC do you have laptop or desktop? What kind of OS are you running now and what kind of OS where you running then 32 bit or 64 bit? Did you upgrade to Windows 7 from Vista? I need this info if I'm to help attempt to fix your sound problem.

Let me know. Ok have you tried uninstalling the drivers yet? If not here is what you do go to device manager, look for your sound driver, then right click it and select uninstall.

After you uninstalling it then you will need to restart the system. A few things will happen after this; one thing is that Windows 7 will try to install a driver from its driver data base for your sound card. Two it will not find one then you will have to install one from your driver disk or if you have downloaded one then you can try using it.

The sound gets lowered anyway, whether desktop speakers are on or off I checked event viewer during volume reduction, there are no logs to portend that volume goes down either If it's possible to perform commands through cmd to cease the distressing phenomena, I'll be happy to find out.
